European designer Guillermo Forchino presents his vision of the modern world in all its absurdity through comic art. His eclectic range of automobiles, planes and motorcycles combine the artist's clever sense of humor with a strong satirical wit. In the late 1980's Forchino began using polyresin for his ‘comic’ sculptures: a series of ironic tableaux that present the modern world in all its absurdity. Overloaded cars en route to a relaxing holiday, military dictators in mobile bathtubs, a variety of bizarre characters – Forchino mixes his sense of humor with a strong satirical wit.
Each piece comes complete with a numbered certificate of authenticity which matches the models unique number also incribed on the base of the statue.
